Evi (Kaliispoolik-Indars) Kratt May 31, 1945 - May 3, 2010. Our beloved Evi lost her long struggle with cancer. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her loving, caring nature and warm smile. Evi was born in Augsburg, Germany the youngest of three children. She was a product of those tumultuous times. Evi immigrated to America in 1950 with her family and became a citizen before she was 20 years old. She is survived by her best friend and husband, Chuck. She was a loving mother to her daughter Ellen Indars-Siddell and her step daughters Cindy McKinney, Bellingham, WA, and Corina Hotek, Rockford, Ill, (Jason Kratt - predeceased). Her beloved grandchildren Randy Siddell; Malaika and Cheyenne Lee; Zach, Max, and Meg McKinney; Kiefer and Jazz Hotek; Sister Lydia Ruel of Ashburnham, and many nieces. Evi worked many years at U-Conn in the School of Education and Pathobiology, and later drove a schoolbus for Laidlaw. Evi truly enjoyed traveling, playing cards, babies, being with family and friends, and U-Conn women's basketball. Memorial service to be held Thursday, May 6, 4PM, at the Ukrainian Home on Rte 66, North Windham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
