Eveyln Mott

On November 22, 2018 Heaven received another Angel, Evelyn J. Mott, 84, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Mansfield, CT. She went peacefully surrounded by her son, Bruce and loving wife, Anita. Evelyn was an extraordinary seamstress. She had her sewing shop in the Hair Loom of Willimantic, CT. She loved what she did to help others; from wedding dresses to the uniforms of the men and women?s basketball team of UCONN. She also helped the Eagleville and Mansfield Fire departments with their patches. Evelyn was the Treasurer of the local German-American Social Club. She will be missed by many and will always be remembered forever in our hearts. She is survived by her two loving sons, Daniel Mott of NY and Bruce Mott (Anita) of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Sean Mott (Sami) and Zachary Mott both of N. Syracuse, NY and Tyler Mott of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Andy Barbrick (Judy) of Port Salerno, FL. Evelyn?s family will be celebrating her life on December 8, 2018 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St Willimantic, CT from 4pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Mansfield Fire Department at 4 South Eagleville Rd. Storrs, CT.
