Evelyn M. O'Dette

Evelyn M. O'Dette , 86, of Willimantic, CT, wife of Herbert O'Dette, passed away on February 7, 2014, at St. Joseph Living Center. She is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia O. Lein of Willimantic, her granddaughter, Amy Little and great granddaughter, Hanna Little of Manchester, CT. and was predeceased by her son, Michael O'Dette of Roswell, New Mexico. Married for 67 years, she was born in Providence, Rhode Island and later moved to Storrs, CT where she worked and retired from UConn as a telephone operator. Throughout her life she was devoted to her Catholic faith. Always busy around the house while finding time to do the most intricate jigsaw puzzles. Grand Ma "O" was also a gourmet cook. Holiday and Sunday meals will certainly not be the same without her culinary touch. There are no calling hours. Her private funeral services will take place at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic.
