Evelyn J. Monk

Evelyn J. (Scott) Monk, 72, of Andover, wife of Raymond Monk died Monday March 24, 2008 at Haven Health Center in Willimantic. She was born December 12, 1935 in Scotland (UK), the daughter of Alexander and Jessie Scott. Raymond and Evelyn would have been married for 29 years on April 6, 2008. She enjoyed spending time with her family and knitting. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Charles Scott Brown and his wife Kimberly, a daughter Sally Ann Barclay and her husband Clay, four brothers Edward Scott, Thomas Scott, Gordon Scott, and William Scott, and two sisters Sheila Williams, and Irene Brogan, and a granddaughter. Her family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (RTE. 195) Willimantic, with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00pm.
