Evelyn R. Joly, 79, of Circle Dr., Mansfield, wife of 59 years of Alphonse Joly, died Friday 5/10/2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born March 28, 1923 in Willimantic the daughter of Donat and Angeline (Bibeau) Boisvert. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as an assistant cook at UConn. She was a communicant of St. Mary?s Church in Willimantic and was active in senior groups in Willimantic. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter in law David and Michele Joly of E. Granby, 2 daughters Phyllis Greenberg and her husband Morris of Anaheim, CA. and Linda Joly of Apollo Beach, FL., 2 brothers Larry Boisvert of Willimantic and Edward Boisvert of Windham, 3 sisters Louise Simmons of Windham, Lucille Sentener and Claire Giordano both of Mansfield, 3 grandchildren; Douglas Greenberg, Andrew Joly and Amanda Joly, and several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 prior to the procession to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Mary?s Church, Valley St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations to VNA East, P.O.
