Evelyn Gonzalez- Caswell, 55, of Willimantic, CT, passed away in the hospital Monday, April 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. With great sadness we announce this sudden passing of our beloved Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Evelyn was devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. She was a kind, generous, accepting and loving woman. Evelyn was a gifted artist with a zest for life, and filled the room with love, laughter and a contagious smile. She will be truly missed. We love you to the moon and back, sleep with the angels. She was pre-deceased by her father Adolfo Gonzalez and brother Adolfo Gonzalez Jr. Evelyn is survived by her children, Rodney Watson III, Nicholas Gonzalez, Evelizes Caswell Roy, and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Antonio, Lillyin, Izabel and Bria. She is also survived by her mother, Carmen Gonzalez, step-dad Raul Class, brothers, Dennis and Kenny, sisters, Marilyn, Madeline and Cindy Gonzalez, as well as several nieces and nephews. Please join the family in celebrating Evelyn?s life. Calling hours will be held, Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT. The Funeral Service will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00am, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
