Evangeline Jurovaty

Evangeline "Von" Jurovaty, 78, of Columbia, widow of Warren P. Jurovaty, passed away on Saturday April 26, 2003. She was born June 24, 1924 in Willimantic the daughter of John and Catherine (Stoj) Czelusniak. Prior to her retirement, Von was employed by SEMCO in N. Windham. She was a communicant of the Catholic church and was an active member of the Beckish Senior Center in Columbia. She was very dedicated to her family. She is survived by her son and daughter in law; Warren J. and Diane Jurovaty of Westwood, MA., 2 grandsons; Kevin and Michael Jurovaty of Westwood, 5 siblings; Victoria Sotek of Whitinsville, MA., Helen Beaudry of S. Windsor, George Czelusniak of Willimantic, and Martha LaFramboise and William Czelusniak both of Columbia and many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Beckish Senior Center, 188 Rte 66. Columbia, Ct. 06237
