Eunice Potter Obituary
On February 2, 2022 Eunice Beverly (Flodin) Potter, 89, of Windhan, CT was peacefully welcomed into her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's loving arms.
Eunice was born in Rhode Island on April 9, 1932 to Rodman and Emma (Nelson) Flodin. She was a graduate of UCONN and went on to intern at Mass General in Boston where she received her American Dietitian Association degree. This was followed by a long fulfilling career as a Therapeutic Dietitian for the State of Connecticut, Windham High School and Windham Memorial Hospital.
In 1959 she married her adoring husband Donald and settled in their home in Windham Center where she resided until her passing. In addition to being a wife, mother and career woman Eunice was an avid gardener, painter, weaver and lover of animals. A lifetime member of The First Congregational Church of Windham Center, Eunice was very active with her church community serving in many capacities including the Women's Society and the Piecers & Quilters. She proudly assisted in the sewing of the 300th Anniversary quilt that hangs in the church.
Eunice is survived by her husband Donald A Potter of the Potter Funeral Home Potter’s, her son Jon C Potter (Paula) of Saint Cloud, Florida, her grandsons, Christopher of Rhode Island and Elijha of Florida and her furry companion Maggie.
Eunice was a faith filled woman who loved her Lord, her family, church and community. For those who wish, please consider a memorial gift to The First Congregational Church of Windham Center or a donation to the local animal shelter.
Eunice's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes remain with her husband Donald until such time as they can be laid to rest together.
There will be no services.
