Eugenia Schuebeler

Eugenia (Thompson) Schuebeler, 89, formerly of Hyannis, MA and Mansfield (Storrs) CT., wife of the late Edgar F. Schuebeler, died Saturday April 10, 2010 at Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, MA. She was born Feb. 6, 1921 in Mansfield, daughter of the late Norman and Caroline (Hayes) Thompson. Upon retirement from UConn Animal Diseases Dept. in 1981 she moved to Cape Cod. Eugenia enjoyed spending time at the shore, collecting antiques and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She is survived by a son Edgar Schuebeler of Colchester, CT, a daughter Jean Schuebeler of Cambridge, MA, a grandson Joseph Schuebeler of Colchester and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and a brother, Pearl Heckler, Marjorie Vuillemet, Gladys Perfetto and Norman Thompson. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday April 14th at 10:30am prior to the Funeral Service at 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT.
