Eugenia Johnson

Eugenia (Jean) Perry Johnson, 96, passed away on June 3, 2015 at Douglas Manor in Windham Center. She was born on May 31, 1919 in Scotland CT to the late Helen Burnham Cary and Dwight Cary. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Leonard R. Johnson of Willimantic whom she married on April 15, 1961 and three sons: Alan D. Perry (Gail) of Scotland, Raymond L. Perry (Sharon) of Glastonbury and James E. Perry (Peg) of Scotland. In addition she is survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond A. Perry who died December 5, 1958. The family wishes to thank the staff at Douglas Manor for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Scotland Public Library, PO Box 286, Scotland, CT. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Scotland Congregational Church, 4 Huntington Rd. Scotland, CT 06264 at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at the Scotland Cemetery.
