Eugene W. Abel

Eugene W. Abel, 73, beloved husband of Barbara A. Abel of Lebanon CT, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday morning 8/23/2011. Lifelong resident of Lebanon CT, recently retired from Pelletier Builders of Coventry CT, Eugene enjoyed playing guitar and tending to his vineyard. He is survived by his children Cheryl A. O'Connor wife of Dan O'Connor of Limerick, PA and Eugene A. Abel of Colchester, CT. also his three grandchildren John Luchon, Paul Luchon and Abigail O'Connor. He also leaves his sisters Calista Gingras of Chaplin, CT and Alice Cynthia Beers of Townsend, TN, nieces and nephews Alice and Shane Kuzel of Lebanon, CT, Valerie Beers of Townsend, TN, Deborah Franklin of Sevierville, TN, and Jeffery Beers of Sevierville, TN. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday Aug. 26th between 10:00 and 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic followed by a graveside service at 11:30am in New Lebanon Cemetery, Waterman Rd., Lebanon.
