Ethel C. Hinson

Ethel C. Hinson, 100, of S. Windsor, formerly of Willimantic, died Sunday March 6, 2005 at Haven Health Center in S. Windsor. She was born Oct. 9, 1904 in New Milford and moved to the Willimantic area in 1932. She was a member of St.Paul's Episcopal Church in Willimantic and had been a member and former president of the VFW#1724 Auxiliary. She was predeceased by a son Harold Hinson and a daughter Grace Sampson. She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Kathleen Hinson of S. Windsor, Craig Hinson of Manchester and Karen Brooks of Mansfield. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30pm in the New Willimantic Cemetery, with the Rev. Patricia Gallagher officiating. There are no calling hours.
