Ethel Alanza Gagnon

Ethel Alanza (Brown) Gagnon, 81, of Windham Center, CT passed away on Saturday May 2, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born April 16, 1928 and raised in Farmville, VA. She lived most of her life in Windham Center. She was employed by Electro Motive Manufacturing Co. and Abbey Manor. She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Gagnon and two brothers, Aubrey and William Brown. Ethel was a member of Windham Center Congregational Church. She loved all her cats and pets and enjoyed reading, gardening, puzzles and needlework. She is survived by her sons, Alan and his wife Mary of Hardwick, VT, Gary and his wife Brenda of Scotland, CT and Barry and his wife Kelly of Scotland, CT and several grandchildren. The family would like to thank Haven Health Care of Windham for the great care she received. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held for her friends and family on Tuesday May 5th at 2:00pm at the Windham Center Cemetery, Rte 203 Windham.
