Ethel (Musial) Cholawa

Ethel Cholawa (Musial), 102, of Willimantic, CT, wife of the late August Cholawa, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Along with her husband she was predeceased by her son, Bill Cholawa, brothers Charlie Musial and Stanley Rybarz, and sister Helen Rybarz. Ethel is survived by her daughter Gloria Couture and her husband David, four grandchildren, Charlene, David, Billy and Amy, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Joan Cholawa, sister Irene Wenglowski and several nieces and nephews. The wake will be held Monday, January 1, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00pm, at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
