Ethel B. (Lert) Adamcik, 92, of the Eagleville section of Mansfield, died Monday Aug. 29, 2005 at her home. She was born April 14, 1913 in New York City the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kolvek) Lert. She was the wife of the late Michael Adamcik who passed away in 1983. Ethel had been employed at the Coventry National Silk Mill and at Leo Heinge Button Shop in Gurleyville. She was an excellent cook and loved to exchange recipes with her friends and relatives. She also enjoyed her gardens and flowers. She is survived by her son John who resides with her in Eagleville, 3 sisters in law, Elizabeth Adamcik of Willimantic, Evelyn Adamcik Vegiard of Storrs and Anna Adamcik of Willimantic; 4 nephews, Henry Suffish of Storrs, Frank Adamcik of Storrs, Richard Adamcik of Chaplin and Andrew Leroy Adamcik of FL.; 3 nieces, Jean Baldyga and her husband John of Coventry, Jean Mangano and her husband Mark of Willimantic and Mary Wiecenski and her husband Robert of Willington; and close wonderful neighbors Paul and Susan Ridzon and their children Jim and Becky. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Infant Lert and Andrew Lert and a sister Elsie Kreitzer. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday between 10:00and 11:00am with graveside services following at 11:30am in St. Mary s Cemetery, Rte. 31, Coventry.
