Esther Purvins

Esther Purvins, 66 , of Lebanon, died of a sudden illness on Monday, Nov 6th while surrounded by her husband and children. She was born Feb. 29, 1940 in Middletown. Esther had been employed by Brand Rex for over 20 years prior to her retirement. She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Talivaldis Purvins of Lebanon CT; a daughter, Wendy Purvins of Norwich CT; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Melissa Purvins of Lebanon CT. She also leaves a brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Karen Ratcliffe of Portland CT, 5 grandchildren, and 2 nieces. Her family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00am with interment following in New Lebanon Cemetery.
