Ernst Losen

Ernst Losen, 81, of Franklin, husband of Ruth (Wing) Losen, died Sunday evening Oct. 30, 2005 at Haven Health Center, Willimantic. He was born March 13, 1924 in Koln, Germany. Ernst operated Losen s Tailor Shop in Willimantic from 1958 to 1985 when he retired and worked partime out of his home in Franklin. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 8 children, Evelyn Gillis of Norwich, Carol Booth of Tolland, Corina Wylie of Lebanon, Lisa White of Franklin, James White of Norwich, Margaret Tourigny of Willimantic, Maria Vazquez of Manchester and Michael White of Wisconsin; a brother Egon Losen in Germany, his former wife Agusta Losen of Windham and 10 grandchildren. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00am. At the request of the family, please omit flowers.
