Ernest J Karosi

Ernest J. Karosi, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away October 6, 2002 after an extended illness. Mr. Karosi was born May 18, 1924 in New York City. He was aU.S.Navy veteranof World War II and a graduate of the University of Connecticut, Class of 1954. Mr. Karosi moved to Vero Beach from Ashford in 1994 after retiring from a successful career in sales. He is survived by two children, a daughter, Sandra L. Karosi of Vernon and a son, Paul A. Karosi of Ashford. He also leaves a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Edward Kucharski of Mansfield Center, a brother and sister-in-law, William and Jeanette Karosi of Ashford as well as many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Karosi. Mr. Karosi also leaves his long time companion, Joyce Costello of Vero Beach. Ernie's sense of humor, artistic talent and positive attitude will be missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:45 a.m. in the Woodward Cemetery, Rte. 44, Ashford.
