Ernest Bratton Glendinning

Ernest B. Glendinning passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at this home in Chaplin, CT. He was born in 1928 in Huddersfield, England, the son of Louis and Violet Glendinning. He is survived by his dear friend and partner, Donna Hodge, with whom he resided; his son, Steven Glendinning of East Montpelier, Vermont; his brother, Ronald Glendinning and his wife, Terry of Coventry; his sister, Jessie Marie and her husband, Hubert Leighton of Littleton, North Carolina and a nephew and two nieces in Maryland. Ernie was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force, serving over 20 years and retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was a member of the LLC that owned and operated Babcock Hill Equestrian Center in Coventry, CT. He enjoyed maintaining and operating the extensive machinery and equipment of this large horse farm.
