Ernest A. Brown

Ernest A. Brown, 91, of Columbia, husband of the late Hannah (Edwards) Brown, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at the Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born April 30, 1913 in Epping, NH, the son of Oliver and Meldella (George) Brown. Mr. Brown had been employed by Hartford Dispatch for many years prior to his retirement. He was involved in various theater groups in the area for over 50 years. He is survived by a daughter Linda Brown of Phoenix, AZ., a son Leroy Brown of Coventry, a sister Lillian Mellon of Wauregan, 2 granddaughters, Tami and Tracy , 2 great grandsons, Adam and Myles and a dear friend Marie Lambert of Columbia. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00pm with the funeral service beginning at 2:00pm.
