Eric L. Hiltz

Eric L. Hiltz, 81, formerly of Valley St., died Monday at the Haven Health Center in Windham. He was born Feb. 11, 1922 in Nova Scotia, son of the late Andrew and Edna (Meister) Hiltz. On Oct. 17, 1942 he married Evelyn Breault in Willimantic. She survives him. Mr. Hiltz served in the Army during World War II. Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Hatcher of Myrtle Creek, NC, a half-brother, Carleton Wells of Glastonbury, two grandchildren; Karl and Kurt Hurlburt and two great grandchildren; Kurt Hurlbert II, and Kinly Grace Hurlburt.
