Emily Wheaton Fisher

Emily W. Fisher, 97, of Windham, wife of the late Francis W. Fisher, died Wednesday, February, 13, 2013 in Willimantic. She was born December 25, 1915 in Willimantic, the daughter of Clarence and Ida (Brown) Wheaton and was a lifelong Windham resident. She had been employed at the former American Thread Company and Electro-Motive Manufacturing Company and for 22 years in the cafeterias of Windham High School and the Noble School. She is survived by three children; Elizabeth Arienzale of Wethersfield, Jeannette Jaquith of Ashford and William E. Fisher of North Windham, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two sisters, Arline Perkins and Hazel Jurkovics. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM.
