It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Emily Adele Duval, 27, of Mansfield, Connecticut, who passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. Emily was born on October 15, 1998, in Manchester, Connecticut. After a lifelong battle with depression, Emily’s pain became unbearable. She made the decision to leave her emotional pain behind. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Emily was a graduate of E.O. Smith High School. She had many talents, which include art, music, acting, photography, and gymnastics. She loved plants and animals. She especially loved her cat, Sir Finnegan Snickerdoodle Esquire, III. She was a lovely, sensitive soul, and her loved ones are heartbroken and devastated by her loss. She was taken too soon.
In light of the sudden news, the family asks for privacy as they deal with this tragic situation. She will be forever loved and remembered by her parents Daniel and Pamela (Michaud) Duval; her brother Daniel “Scotty” Duval, Jr. and his fiancée Shaylah Zorn; her maternal grandmother Rita “Cookie” Michaud; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Jeremy Benson for taking care of Em before her untimely death.
