Emiliano Rivera

Emiliano Rivera, 77, of Willimantic, husband of Carmen Sanchez Rivera, died Monday Sept. 5, 2011 at home. He was born Jan. 24, 1934 in Puerto Rico. He was predeceased by his first wife Rosa Ortiz Rivera. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Hilda Caraballo of Willimantic and Blanca Feliciano of Bolton; two sons, Emiliano Rivera and Jesus Rivera both of Willimantic; five brothers, Felix, Lorenzo, Jose Antonio, Juan and Jose Antonio and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday Sept. 8th between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00am at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham. Interment will follow in New Willimantic Cemetery.
