Emile "Pete" Verville Sr

Emile L. Pete Verville Sr., 85 of Andover, CT. passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 26, 2005 surrounded by his family. He was born April 19, 1920 in Holyoke, MA. and grew up there. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Ann Whelihan Verville. At the time of his death, Pete was employed by the Town of Andover as a transfer station attendant. The Vervilles were the owners of Hebron Surplus during the 1980 s-90 s. Pete is survived by 4 sons, Richard F. Verville and his wife Wanda of Wales, MA., James L. Verville and his wife Kathy of Holyoke, MA., Jay K. Linddy of Andover,CT. and Emile L. Verville Jr. and his companion Pam Lessard of Wilbraham, MA.; 2 sisters, Rose Heathfield of Canada and Jackie Fedora of Westfield, MA., grandchildren Justin Verville, Stacy Lecours, Mark Verville, Lisa Chaffee, Jenny, Amy and Emily Verville; great grandchildren Cameron and Adam. He is also survived by many special friends including Faye Hoisington and Steve Lorenc of Andover and the families loving companion Roscoe. Pete was an Honorary member of the Andover Volunteer Fire Dept. He will always be remembered for being an election worker and was so proud serving his church. The family wishes to thank the staff of Windham Hospital, Hartford Hospital, VNA East, and a special thanks to Dr. Scott Berger and Dr. Fisherkeller. Friends are invited to join the family in a Memorial Service Saturday May 7, 2005 at 6:00pm at the Andover Congregational Church, Rte. 6, Andover. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial donations be made to either the Andover Volunteer Fire Dept., 15 School Rd., Andover, Ct. 06232 or to the First Congregational Church, P.O.
