Elvin P. Betancourt

Elvin "El Pavo" Betancourt, 68, of Willimantic, died Sunday August 30, 2015 at Vanderman Place. He was born in Puerto Rico, the son of Ramon Pagan and Josefa Betancourt. Elvin volunteer for many years at the Soup Kitchen in Willimantic. He is survived by seven brothers Ramon Pagan, Benjamin Pagan, Jorge L. Pagan, Rafael A. Pagan, Edwin M. Pagan, Frankie Pagan and Nestor Pagan, six sisters Milagros Pagan, Iris N. Pagan, Gloria Pagan, Neyda M. Pagan, Nancy M. Pagan and Isabel Pagan and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Filiberto Pagan and Jose A. Pagan. Elvin's family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10:00am at Sagrado Corazon De Jesus Church, 61 Club Rd. Windham, with assembly at church.
