Elsie Wyszomierski

Elsie I. Wyszomierski, 80, of Windham, CT passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, December 26, 2011. Elsie was born on January 24, 1931 to the late Laura and Orrin Cone. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Mansfield Training School. She was a loving, generous and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed dearly. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen and her daughter Carol Vincent. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Oliver and her husband Edward, her grandchildren whom she cherished, Jamie Vincent, Brandon Oliver, Lindsay O'Brien and her husband John, great grandchildren Cole Atkins and Jacob Smith, sisters, Mary Cone, Lois Kneeland and Viola Slater and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Laurence, Orrin, Irvin and Charles Cone. Her funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, December 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
