Elsie M. (Duckett) Wrobleski, 83, of Chaffeeville Rd., Mansfield, widow of Milton J. Wrobleski Sr., died Saturday Sept. 21, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1919 in Fall River, MA., the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Kelly) Duckett. Prior to her retirement from UConn, Elsie had been employed there for nearly 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic. She is survived by a son and daughter in law Milton J. Wrobleski Jr. and Dorothy of Mansfield Center, 2 daughters and a son in law, Sister Margaret Wrobleski RSM of E. Providence, R.I. and Marilyn and Maurice Stapleton of Willington, a sister Doris I. Duckett of Willimantic, grandchildren; Richard Wrobleski of Dayville, Michael Stapleton of Winsted, Carlene Clark of Coventry and Cynthia Hayes of Beaverdam, VA., and great grandchildren; Allison, Jessica and Andrew Clark of Coventry, Nathan Hayes of Beaverdam, VA. and Nicholas Wrobleski of Dayville. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:30am prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the McAuley Ministries, 325 Niagra St., Providence, R.I. 02907.
