Elsie E. Wilhelm

Elsie E. (Arson) Wilhelm, 89, of Lebanon passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. Elsie was born in Lebanon on May 13, 1929 to Michael Arson and Agnes (Miega) Arson. On September 3, 1949, Elsie married the love of her life George Wilhelm and they celebrated 49 years of marriage until his passing, March 20, 1999. Elsie is survived by her two daughters Ellen Kamm of Lebanon and Patricia Leonard and her husband, Morgan, of Hebron, her two beloved grandchildren, Max Kamm and Alexandra (Leonard) Carlson and her husband Thomas, and several nieces. She also leaves her loving caregiver Jessie Kelly. Elsie worked for many years as a purchasing officer for the University of Connecticut where she retired in 1990. In retirement, she loved taking care of her grandchildren and shopping with her sister Lena and friend Helen Musial. She loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her sister Lena and brothers Fred, Matthew, and Walter. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday October 17 from 6:00?to 8:00 pm. at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT and Thursday October 18, 2018 with a funeral service with Rev. Mark Masnicki officiating at 10:00am. Burial will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery on Waterman Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
