Elsie V. Labonte

Elsie V. LaBonte, 94, of Willington, wife of the late Harry H. LaBonte, died Wednesday April 30, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was born Aug. 16, 1919 in Ravanna, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Dvorak) Veseley. Elsie was a self employed hairdresser in Willington for many years. She was a member of the Federated Church of Willington, the Willington Seniors and was a 7th Degree member of Tolland Grange of which she had been a member for over 75 years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Robert Smith of Enfield, Elizabeth Robertson of Willington and Charles Zemek of Willington. Calling hours will be held on Friday May 2, 2014 between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:00am at Hall Memorial Church (Federated Church of Willington), 132 River Rd., Willington. Interment will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery.
