Elsa Boschenko

Elsa (Rosin) Boschenko, 84, of Willimantic, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday Jan. 28, 2006. She was born Dec. 20, 1921 in the Ukraine, the daughter of Albert and Emma (Michel) Rosin. Elsa was a member of Christian Life Assembly in Willimantic and was retired from American Thread Company. She was an avid gardener. Elsa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She is survived by 2 daughters, Uta Saczyk and her husband Joseph and Marlina Easton and her husband James all of Windham. She was the beloved Oma grandmother of Aaron, Kristen and Derek Johnson of Windham. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with interment following in New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
