Elmer Marion Maccluskey Jr.

Elmer Marion MacCluskey Jr., 91, of Woodstock, CT passed away Saturday, June 09, 2018. He was born March 01, 1927 in Port Chester, New York to the late Elmer and Ethel Heider MacCluskey. Elmer retired from the state of CT with the UCONN Police. He enjoyed traveling, reading, woodworking, upholstering, competitive shooting, i.e. Pistol and Skeet and was a member of the Chaplin, CT Fin, Fur and Feather Club. Elmer is survived by his loving wife, Louise; step children, Deborah Dubina (Alan) of Scotland, CT, Diane Gilbert (David) of Cumming, GA, Robert Quinn (Marie) of Columbia, CT, Michael Quinn of Columbia, CT; 13 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren; cousin, Barbara Conroy (Brian) of Denver, NC and his dear friend, Franklin Mauri of Woodstock, CT. Family will receive relatives and friends, Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT. We will leave the funeral home in procession to St. Philip Apostle Church 64 Pompey Hollow Rd. Ashford, CT for a 12:00 pm Mass. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Club Rd. Willimantic, CT.
