Ellen Condon

Ellen (Dufresne) Condon, 89, of Brooklyn, widow of Garrett F. Condon Sr., died Sunday Oct. 12, 2003 at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. She was born Nov. 22, 1913 in Jewett City the daughter of Adelard and Azilda (St.Onge) Dufresne. She was raised in Jewett City, was a Hartford resident and has resided in Brooklyn since 1985. She had been employed at the Ashland Mills in Jewett City and was a communicant of Our Lady of LaSalette Church in Brooklyn. She was a member of the Quinnebaug Valley Seniors and had been active with the Mary Hart Crusaders. She was predeceased by her son Garrett F. Condon Jr. who died Feb.16, 2003. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
