Elizabeth "Betty" (Crickmore) Plesz, 85, of Willimantic, passed away peacefully on Friday Aug. 10, 2012 at Regency Heights in Willimantic. She was born Jan. 18, 1927 in Coventry a daughter of the late Dorothy and Alfred Crickmore. Betty was a devoted mother to three sons, was employed at UConn as a cook and then was employed by AT&T for over twenty years. She enjoyed time with family, traveling often to Florida with friends and enjoyed the outdoors, especially walking and gardening. Betty is survived by her three sons, Richard and his wife Aili of Lebanon, Michael and his wife Cathy of Martha's Vineyard, MA and Guy of Pomfret Center; grandchildren Ryan of Lebanon, Robert and his wife Donna of Coventry and Douglas of MA; great grandchildren Elaina Marie and Jenelle Renae Plesz. She is also survived by sisters Alice Krest and her husband Al, Faye Lee and her husband James; brother Herbert Crickmore and his wife Terry, numerous nieces and nephews and special loving caregivers Betty, Audrey, Debra and Vanda. She was predeceased by sisters Eunice Palaoro, Helen Rood, Ethel Cargo Harris, Doris Haloburdo, Judy Kennison, Edie Kennison, Gladys Salcedo and brothers Arthur, Marvin, Leonard and David Crickmore.
