Elizabeth "Betty" May

Elizabeth (Betty) D. May, 94, of Tolland, CT, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She was born on August 9, 1918 in Beaver Falls, PA, daughter of William T. and Rebecca (Anderson) Dalzell. She married Howard E. May Jr., and they had four children, Kenneth, David, Jeanette and Sue Anne and a foster daughter Gloria. She taught Kindergarten in Willington, CT for many years. She is survived by her four children, foster daughter, Kenneth's wife Linda, David's wife Phyllis, grandson Robert May and his wife Lori, granddaughter Lisa May, and cousins Robert Mund of Cincinnati, OH and Carol Stager of Los Angeles, CA. She was predeceased by her husband Howard and her brother Thomas Dalzell. No calling hours or burial service will be held. There will be a Celebration of Life service on May 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Second Congregational Church of Stafford in West Stafford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
