Elizabeth C. Maclure

Elizabeth C. Maclure , 96, of Windham died at home on Thursday Feb. 14, 2008. She was the widow of Dieudonne (Dennis) Maclure. Elizabeth was one of eight sisters, leaving Ruth Skinner as her only living sister. She is survived by her children, their spouses and their families, they are Theresa and Eugene Blackburn, Margaret Anderson, Dennis and Barbara Maclure, Angeline Sawyer, son-in-law Warren Holbrook, and Thomas and Arlene Maclure, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her daughter Lucille Holbrook and her grandson David Blackburn predeceased her. The Maclure family wishes to thank Hospice/VNA East staff and Dr. Jones and his staff for their understanding and support during this difficult time. Calling hours will be held at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Monday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00am with interment following in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
