HAWKINS, Elizabeth Irene (Bolduc)?Elizabeth Irene (Bolduc) Hawkins, 79, of Mansfield, loving wife of Albert, passed away Tuesday (October 24, 2006) at Windham Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 25, 1927 in North Windham, the daughter of the late Fred and Ellen (Clark) Bolduc. Betty was a loyal member of the Mansfield Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her flower gardens and took great joy in working around the yard, both here and at their winter home in Ruskin, FL. Painting and needlepoint were her hobbies as well. Many happy years were spent at "The Lake" in Woodstock, with family and friends. She had a passion for angels and her collection of figurines can be seen throughout the house. At one point they made their way up to the attic, but somehow found their way down again, where they are proudly displayed. If you visited Mom and Dad any summer evening, you'd probably find them sitting on the porch, enjoying the waterfall that Dad built for her, with a drink in their hands. She is survived by her adoring husband of 60 years, as well as her four daughters, Donna of Niagara Falls, Ontario; Tina and her husband, David Gould of Columbia, Barbara and her husband, Bill Hengstenberg of Canton and Shelley Lebell of Vernon. She loved each of her grandchildren, Kyle, Jamie and Adam Gould and Marc Lebell. She also leaves a brother, Oliver of Chaplin; and sisters, Patricia of Florida and Marguerite Montpelier of North Grosvenordale. She was predeceased by four brothers, Roger, Robert, Carl Victor and Kenneth; and a sister, Ellen Bonin. Her family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., (Rte. 195) Willimantic TODAY Oct. 26, between 6 - 8 p.m. A service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at First Church of Christ Congregational, corner of Rte. 195 and Browns Rd. in Mansfield Center.
