Elizabeth Godeck

Elizabeth Godeck, 96, of Lebanon CT, formerly of Hartford, CT, passed away on March 22, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Hartford, on September 19, 1915. She was the wife of the late Philip J. Godeck Sr. also of Lebanon. She worked for Royal Typewriter until her retirement in 1971. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 511 in Hartford. She is survived by Philip J Godeck Jr. of Lebanon and Elizabeth Ellis of South Windsor. She was predeceased by two grandchildren Linda Rizzo and Deborah Schools and a great grandson Jason Schools. She is also survived by grandchildren, Philip J Godeck III, Cynthia Duprey and Diane Buttimer, great grandchildren, Danielle and Kelsey Schools, Derek, Kyle and Brianna Duprey, Nicolas and Alexis Buttimer, Shaina Rizzo, Emily and Heather Godeck, and a great great grandson Gavin Duprey. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday March 25th between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 26th at 10:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Town St., Lebanon, with assembly at the church. Interment will follow at 11:45 in Mt.
