Elizabeth Christensen

Elizabeth (Metsack) Christensen, 89, of Middletown, died Monday February 21, 2005 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Betty was born in Ashford, the youngest child of the late Michael and Mary (Karabin) Metsack. She lived a rich and varied life, traveling throughout the country with her beloved husband Elton, before moving back to Connecticut after his death. She is survived by a dear sister-in-law, Rose Metsack, three generations of nephews and nieces and her dear friend Ruth Bell. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will follow in the Woodward Cemetery, Ashford. There are no calling hours.
