Elizabeth Ann Betty Richter

Elizabeth Ann Betty Richter, 67, of Willimantic, passed away peacefully at home on Friday April 28, 2006. She was born on September 24, 1938 in Boston, the daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Fraizer) Drew. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William K. and Maria T. Fisher, a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Dwayne Nelson, 2 stepsons, Brian Swan and Jeff Swan, all of Willimantic, 5 grandchildren, Roger Henry III, Elizabeth Henry, Peter Henry, Alyson Barr and Even Barile. She is also survived by a sister, Rose Peake and her husband Richard of Woburn, MA, a brother, John Drew and his wife Marystella of Dunncannon, PA, a cousin, Richard Scott, whom she loved like a brother and a long time companion, Marie Prescott. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and friend whose warmth and humor will be sadly missed by her family and her friends. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Ave., Cambridge, MA.
