Eleanor is survived by her husband Charles Quick, her son Scott Quick, her daughter Pam and husband Steve Stewart and her three grandchildren Stephen, Haley and Allie Stewart along with her brother John and Maryellen Bushey, sister-in-law Ann Bushey and brother-in-law Fred and Bev Quick. Eleanor?s twin brother Bill and sister Peggy will be embracing her with open arms in heaven. Throughout Eleanor?s illness her husband Charles went above and beyond to make sure his wife was always happy and comfortable. Charles did any and everything to make his ?little woman? know how much she was loved. Eleanor had a heart of gold and a sense of humor that kept everyone laughing even through the hard times. Eleanor found great pleasure in being there for others, and she always put the needs of her family before her own, especially her grandchildren. She loved them to pieces, they were the ?lights of my life? as she always said. The love and support Eleanor received is what kept her going throughout the course of her illness. Mom, you have always been my best friend and my constant support, you are loved beyond belief. You are a true angel. Calling hours will be held Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT.
