Eleanor E. Fitts

Eleanor E. (Warrender) Fitts, 90, of Willimantic, widow of Howard Fitts, died this morning Aug. 29, 2002 at the Roncalli Health Center, Willimantic. She was born on July 6, 1912 in Manchester the daughter of William and Ida (Eaton) Warrender and had resided in Danielson for many years. She had been employed by the American Thread Co. and by Danielson Curtain Co. She enjoyed playing bingo and played almost nightly. She is survived by a son Fred Fitts of Chaplin, 4 daughters; Charlotte Litchfield of Windham, Jackie Garduno of Clovis, N.M., Jeanette Duchesneau of N. Windham and Beverly Rivera of Hampton, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St.Willimantic on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Graveside services in the South Cemetery, Hampton, will be private. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Roncalli Health Center Recreational Dept., 595 Valley St. Willimantic,Ct. 06226.
