Eileen Y. Mongeau

February 18, 1917 — September 17, 2011

Eileen Yvonne Mongeau went to be with her husband Alfred and daughter Lorraine on September 17, 2011. She was born in 1917 to the late Cyril and Emma (Gaucher) Jubin. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Raymond and George Jubin and 2 sisters, Antoinette Caisse and Gabriel Marcoux. She leaves her son Richard and wife Debra Mongeau of Mansfield and daughter June and husband Frank Konopka of Lebanon, three grandsons (that she always called her boys) Gerald and James Konopka of Lebanon and Daniel and wife Tina Konopka of North Windham. She also leaves her former caregiver Peg and husband Ernest Fain and nieces and nephews. Eileen worked alongside her husband (Bill) on their poultry farm "Triple Springs" until his death in 1976. Eileen was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved people and was always ready to help anyone who needed it. Her loving smile and great sense of humor will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Road, Windham. There are no calling hours.
