Eileen Mahar, 78, of Terryville, formerly of Waterbury, beloved wife to the late James Mahar Sr. entered eternal rest on February 24 at UConn Medical Center in Farmington, CT. Mrs. Mahar was born on June 2, 1933, daughter to the late Joseph and Emily Pimentel and step father Harold Watt. Eileen is survived by her son James Mahar Jr. and wife Laurie of Thomaston, a daughter, Eileen Fitzpatrick of Brooklyn, sisters, Doris Lucchesi of Springfield, VT, Josephine Pimentel of North Providence, RI, brothers, Joseph Pimentel and his wife Deborah of East Providence, RI, Alan Pimentel and his wife Maryann of Somersworth, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren Eric Mahar and his wife Heather of Torrington, Fredrick Rohrer, of Narragansett, RI, and Nicole Rohrer of Orlando, FL. Eileen was a compassionate employee of the VNA of Waterbury, CT for a number of years. She spent many summers with her late husband James aboard their boat on Long Island sound. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with James at the Waterbury and Westbrook Elks Lodges. Eileen's interests included boating, shopping, and beach going. On many occasions, Eileen could be found under the sun with her closest friends and a smile on her face. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
