Edward Zubcow

Edward Zubcow, 79, of Lebanon, died Monday November 18, 2002 in Windham. He was born July 7, 1923 in Poland. He spent World War II in labor camps and upon coming to the United States he was employed at several local farms including Mieczynski's Farm. For the last several years he has lived with the Durnik family, Dan and Anita, and their children, Tom, Robert and Jennifer who helped care for him. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister in Poland. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. Windham. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic.
