Edward Francis Venn, Jr., 93, beloved partner of Eleanor Cove, passed away at home on December 6, 2023. He was born in Fort Lee, New Jersey on June 7, 1930 to the late Modesta Keste and Edward F. Venn, Sr. Edward was a design engineer by trade and spent many years working for Electric Boat, Kaman and Sikorsky Helicopter. He was an avid reader as a fan of many genres, who also enjoyed cooking and Barbecue. He was known for his specialties, chili, Rotel dip and French meat pie.
Edward is survived by a son Andrew Venn and his wife Marian; three daughters, Stephanie Stenson and her husband Mark, Wendy Cerrato and her husband Michael and Melissa LaBelle. Edward also leaves six grandchildren, their spouses and eight great grandchildren.
Edward served in the Army and was a sergeant. He was stationed in El Paso, Texas and later served at Fort Edwards, in Cape Cod, MA.
He was predeceased by his wife, Natalie Porter and his son-in-law John LaBelle.
