Edward Rekk

Edward Rekk, 83, of Willimantic, died Monday Dec. 2, 2002 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. He was born Oct. 7, 1919 in Estonia and was an accomplished carpenter. Mr. Rekk was retired from Eastern Ct. State University. He was a member of the Estonian Legion, the Estonian Men's Chorus and the Estonian Mixed Chorus. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Lethe (Suits) Rekk and a sister and other relatives in Estonia. He was predeceased by a daughter Aili Rekk in 1998. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St., (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
