Edward Mihok Obituary
Edward F. Mihok, 77, of Scotland CT, husband of Shirley (Koval) Mihok, passed away April 23, 2021. He was born in Windham on March 8, 1944 to the late Frank and Anne Mihok of Scotland.
Edward worked his entire life in the grocery industry for Finast, Edwards, and Geisslers Supermarket, starting as a stock boy and eventually holding many store manager positions. Besides his work, he enjoyed working around his house with his wife Shirley and spending quality time with his family. Ed especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren compete in sports at many levels. He was an avid New York Giants and New York Yankees fan and attended many Yankee games with his family.
In addition to his wife Shirley, Ed is survived by a daughter Lisa of Bradenton FL and grandson Dylan Welch of Windham CT; son Scott Mihok, daughter-in-law Callie and grandchildren Jordyn and Zach of Scotland CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the family asked for to make a donation to St. Jude’s. Ed’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
