Edward A. Boisvert Sr., 78, of Windham, passed away Monday July 28, 2003 in Windham. He was born in Montpelier, VT on October 15, 1924, son of Donat and Angeline Boisvert. He was predeceased by his wife Jean M. (Lewis) Boisvert. He owned and operated his own excavation business until his retirement and also was retired from Kendall Manufacturing Co. Mr. Boisvert was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah?s Witnesses. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Theresa Boisvert of Willimantic, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Anthony Ouellette of Tolland, Tina and Bert Koppisch of Willimantic. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Renee and Michael Collins, Edward Boisvert III and Tricia Boisvert, Amanda Kuefner, Morgan and Taylor Ouellette, Cole and Conal Koppisch, 3 great grandchildren, Brooke and Michael Collins and Makayla Boisvert. Survivors also include 3 sisters, Louise Simmons, Lucille Sentener and Claire Giordano, and a brother, Larry Boisvert. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Aldor Boisvert and Philip Boisvert, and 2 sisters Evelyn Joly and Jeannette Puleo. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
