Edith Romano

Edith Romano, 89, of Horn Rd., Windham, wife of Frank Romano, died Monday Sept. 16, 2002 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. She was born Sept. 26, 1912 in Pawtucket , R.I., and has resided in Windham for the last 27 years. While living in R.I., she was employed as a jewelry maker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son in law Camile and Ivo Guarco of Windham, 2 grandchildren; Frank Guarco and his wife Kim of New Britain, and Carol Myers and her husband Bob of New London, a great grandson Kyle Guarco of New Britain and 2 sisters Lee Nadow of Attleboro, MA. And Margaret Bergeron of Pawtucket, R.I. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations in her memory to St. Joseph Living Center, 14 Club Rd., Windham, Ct. 06280.
